LeAnne Philips provides communications support and writes newsletters, articles, and media relations materials for America’s Cultivation Corridor.
Since 2007, she has written and edited newsletters, blog posts, articles, and media relations materials for agricultural producer organisations and companies as a freelance writer and communications consultant. She has also managed membership and communications programs for dairy industry associations including Western Iowa Dairy Alliance and Midwest Dairy Association.
LeAnne designed and executed internal and external communications programs for both North American and international business teams at Pioneer Hi-Bred. Before joining Pioneer, she led corporate positioning and issues management programs for ag and food industry clients at Fleishman-Hillard in Kansas City and was a commodity markets reporter.
LeAnne brings a producer perspective to her work, living on a family-owned and operated farm and cattle feedlot in northwest Iowa with her husband, Mark Philips, and three children. She earned a Bachelor of Science, along with degrees in journalism and business administration from the University of Kansas.
