Nexgen Plants is an innovative R&D company that aims at discovering and developing with other industry partners new plant health products to shield plant yield against losses due to weeds, pests and diseases and support agribusinesses to meet profitability and sustainability metrics.
The market for weed control is dominated by herbicides. The emergence of resistant weeds to known herbicides is however recognized as a growing problem in crop farming and there is an urgent need to develop new products that can either substitute some of them or offer new modes of action to control weeds. Nexgen Plants’ weed control portfolio includes several candidates with desirable properties that can replace commercially available herbicides and provide the industry with new classes of chemistry including bioherbicides.
