The Fight Food Waste CRC is the biggest R & D organisation in the world devoted to reducing food waste, and is funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Industry, Science and Resources.
Stop Food Waste Australia was established in December 2020 as the lead agency to coordinate Australia's response to the goal of halving food waste by 2030. It operates as a powerful partnership of organisations along the farm-to-fork food supply chain, including all levels of government, industry and the food rescue sector. SWFA's activities are supported by the Australian Government Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.

Combined CRC'S- Soil CRC
The Soil CRC is bringing together scientists, industry and farmers to find practical solutions for Australia’s underperforming soils. Underperforming agricultural soils cost Australian farmers billions of dollars in lost revenue each year. The CRC aims to enable farmers to increase their productivity and profitability by providing them with knowledge and tools to improve the performance of their soils. The Soil CRC is the largest collaborative soil research effort in Australia’s history. The Soil CRC has 39 participants that along with the Australian Government contribute $167 million to the CRC through both cash and in-kind contributions.
