Entrepreneur and ‘Vertical Farming’ pioneer, David Rosenberg addressed the full house at the evokeAG. 2019 conference to discuss “Thinking Up Solutions: Re-purposing urban areas into productive horticultural hubs.”
David is the co-founder and CEO of AeroFarms – a US company that is radically changing the way we perceive farming with the world’s largest vertical farming system. Using innovative technology and state of-the-art data monitoring, AeroFarms have built, and continue to build, large-scale, vertical farms in urban areas.
Growing in once empty warehouses, these vertical farms produce high-yielding crops with 95% less water than traditional farms and achieve annual yields hundreds of times higher per square metre.
David is a member of the World Economic Forum taskforce, entrepreneur, water management advocate and pioneering famer.
