Demand Side Instruments

Our agronomic tools and mobile apps like Aliaterra help to manage and preserve natural resources in agriculture by deploying up-to-date information and communication technologies. The customisable dedicated Aliaterra interface delivers an overview of the land allowing growers to monitor, control, and automate their irrigation systems.
Our solution comprises various sensors allowing for monitoring of different field parameters, based on individual grower needs and enabling informed resource management. The real-time alert system allows remote control and operation of irrigation equipment, according to predefined or manual weekly programs.
If conditions in the fields exceed predefined safety values, growers are immediately informed and can take appropriate action. To generate meaningful insights to inform decision making from the data, DSI utilises edge-computing technology enabling efficient data transfer to a gateway in the field, communicating with DSI’s cloud for advanced data analysis. The end-user interacts with the data through the app, providing real-time recommendations for the farmer based on the field’s condition.
